My door to photography opened through freelancing as a journalist. I started that journey in 2005, but for me writing was the most important focus for many years. In 2014 I started my first photography project, and I eventually began to document my own stories with the camera. Photography then became one of my my main arteries, in wich I explore the world I live in and myself. I tend to explore themes such as social expectations, truth, identity, intimacy and human relations. I do alot of selfportraiture, and find all of my personal projects self-reflecting in one way or another. Most of my work is created where I live, in Kvinnherad, at the west-coast of Norway. I currently work both digital and analog, and I also find joy in exploring alternative processes, such as salt printing.

I hold a BA in modern art and aesthetics from the University of Bergen, and am currently working on my MA at the same university - mainly focusing on the history of photography. I work as a freelancer in the fields of writing, photography and graphic design.
